Mosaic at Home process

For those who don't know, I am currently employed for Mosaic in(or of..never remember) Central Iowa. I started as a DSM(Direct Support Manager) aka a supervisor in March 2013. I did that for about a couple years and then got promoted to SSC/QIDP(Support Services Coordinator/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) in May 2015. I have since chosen to become a host home provider and am in the process currently with being matched. My first match was a young man who I feel would have been a good fit for me. Unfornately, his parents were not convinced with the host home model and decided to have him remain in a group home setting. Yesterday 11/1/16, I met with a young lady. She seemed nice and quite anxious to make this match work. I do have some reservations but none that would make me decide to not move forward. Change can be hard and scary especially when you're letting go of a good paying position with decent job security to move to the unknown. If this match doesn't work, I'm jobless until either we find someone else or I find a new job either back with Mosaic or somewhere else. Why do I want to do this? Honestly, the big motivator is the potential for freedom from debt. Since this is a 24/7 job, the annual income is higher because you're working 24/7. I will need to figure out relief such as respite options or family because I know me, I am pretty tolerate until it my cup overflows and then I just need a break.

I'm hoping that things will work out. I feel bad for not praying more on it last night but I will have to send some up ASAP. If you read this, pray for me or keep me in your thoughts. If you're reading this some time afterwards, feel free to check on me and make sure I'm okay...lol.
